Funding and governance

This site is published by Swanson Reed. The legal entity and its address are on the contact page.

The site takes no money from anyone else:

• no advertising
• no sponsored or paid content
• no paid listings, because no adviser is listed
• no referral fees: the site refers no one to any adviser. The only links to the publisher's booking page are on the contact page and the home page, as the conflicts of interest page explains
• no charge to read a page, use a tool or download a file

As publisher, Swanson Reed is responsible for what the site says. Every page is written to the editorial standards, checked against official sources, and reviewed against the site's legal requirements before it is published.

Those requirements limit what the publisher can do with the site. It recommends no adviser, including itself. It names no firm, person or product other than the publisher. Every red flag page says when a practice is a problem and when it is not. The conflicts of interest page sets these rules out in full.
